Wendon Holidays

Consumer reviews policy

We welcome honest feedback about Wendon Holidays. Reviews should reflect a genuine stay or other experience with us. Please make clear if you are reviewing an enquiry rather than a stay.

Our review standards

We prohibit fake reviews, fabricated ratings, concealed incentives and misleading review information. Please do not impersonate someone else, conceal a personal or business connection, or submit duplicate reviews to manipulate a rating. We assess positive and negative reviews against the same standards. Criticism alone is never a reason to reject a genuine review.

No rewards for reviews

Wendon Holidays does not offer payment, discounts, gifts or other rewards for reviews. We never make a benefit conditional on positive feedback or on changing or removing criticism. If a benefit was connected with a review, it must be clearly disclosed; we investigate concealed incentives.

Leaving a review

Use the review facility on the relevant Wendon Holidays apartment page or the link in a post-stay email. Our website uses Lodgify’s review facilities. If you booked through another platform, its review invitation and submission rules also apply. You are welcome to describe both positive and negative experiences.

Displaying reviews and ratings

Reviews should be attributed to the correct apartment or service and their source should be clear. Where we display ratings, counts or summaries, we explain their source and relevant coverage. We do not selectively exclude genuine negative feedback to improve a rating, combine incompatible scores or use excerpts that misrepresent the reviewer’s meaning or the overall feedback.

Report a concern

If you think content we display is fake, hides an incentive or is misleading, please contact Wendon Holidays. Give the review link or screenshot and explain your concern, without unnecessary personal information. You can also report content hosted elsewhere directly to that platform.

How we investigate

We consider concerns promptly and fairly, checking relevant booking or enquiry records, duplication and other evidence. We may ask for more information. An unfamiliar name alone does not prove a review is fake.

Where justified, we may temporarily withhold suspected content while investigating. If we establish a breach, we remove or correct the content and associated ratings or summaries under our control. We restore genuine content withheld in error. If a platform controls publication, we use its reporting process and review our own displays while it investigates.

If you disagree with a decision, contact us with your reasons or new evidence. We will reconsider and explain the outcome as far as we can without disclosing another person’s private information.

Reviewing our approach

We review these arrangements periodically and when our systems or risks change.
